SCOTLANDSIMAGES.COM site launched at PBF 08
CiT has worked with five major institutions to create a new Scottish National Image Resource SCOTLANDSIMAGES.COM. The solution created by CiT to manage the collection is a portal that enables all aspects of the administration to function as a single entity, whilst allowing each archive to retain it’s own individual ownership of images and operational data. CiT was awarded this prestigious project despite strong international competition. As a market leader in high end image library solutions CiT were able to offer the Scottish national heritage partnership a highly sophisticated solution required by the project. This was all provided within the required time frame and budget restrictions.
