RSPB Images – Media section

RSPB Images launches specialised website media section

Through close consultation with senior management within the Press and PR section of the RSPB, CiT has been able to create a specialised media area on the RSPB Images website.

Press Officers can now create stories with links to corresponding images within a dedicated media area. They can then email password protected links to relevant journalists who can login to download stories and images for instant use.

A new cataloguing facility enables images to be classified for media use only enabling Press Officers to maintain restrictions on images sourced externally.

The media section was successfully deployed to instant acclaim by the RSPB Media Team and end user journalists alike. ‘it has exceeded all our expectations, we can now send out images to journalists within a fraction of the time it took us previously’ said The RSPB Chief Press Officer, Grahame Madge.
