CiT has created an online image resource facility for The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) Image Library www.wspaimages.org, starting with an initial 7,500 images reflecting WSPA's work.  The collection caters for internal staff requirements from within the London office, the remote offices worldwide, their partner agencies and related organizations.

All the images are protected by the secure registration and login system and can only be downloaded by authorised users. Each registered user is assigned a user level which determines which website facilities are available to them, including which images are available for viewing and downloading online.

During the cataloguing process images are classified as to their usage level making them available to an extensive range of categories of user types, including;

• WSPA internal use only
• WSPA internal & authorized partners
• External media users
• Standard externals users
• Administrator level authorized users only

WSPA has currently opted to reserve access to a restricted audience, however the site has been set-up to facilitate a planned move to include commercial sales at a later date.
