CiT wins contract to manage RSPB Images

Created by CiT, the new web site for the image collection of the Royal Society for Protection of Birds (RSPB) can be found at www.rspb-images.com.

CiT won the contract to both produce a new web site and manage the outsourced collection of over 32,000 images. All the high resolution images and metadata on the site have been put through a rigorous quality assurance programme, and the CiT team have worked together with the RSPB to create a contemporary web showcase for this long established resource.

Specialist picture experts from CiT are running the collection housed at their head office in Sheffield, providing a personal librarian service to both internal and external clients.
