CiT releases software integrating with Adobe CS3
CiT is pleased to announce the release of its latest software that integrates fully with Adobe CS3. To ensure the best possible quality in digital imagery, CiT has created a unique integration system enabling the backend to use Photoshop CS3 to provide the following image processing functions:
· Image resizing
· Embedding colour profiles
· Embedding IPTC/XMP information
Image resizing For upload to the web the backend software automatically generated multiple image sizes from thumbnail through to high resolution delivery size jpegs during the cataloguing process. This sophisticated system allows the user to select the pixel dimensions, compression and file format for each individual image size setting. These remain as a constant unless the user decides to amend them.
Colour Profiles To maintain colour consistency throughout the usage of an image CiT has chosen the most prevalent and sophisticated Digital Imaging software, Photoshop CS3 to embed the colour profiles for each image. During the cataloguing process Imageflow automatically saves multiple sizes of each image with individually selected colour profiles. These remain as a constant unless the user decides to amend them.
XMP/IPTC Using Adobe's Extensible Metadata Platform (XMP) to create and embed information within the images during the imageflow cataloguing process, CiT has ensured that desktop applications and back-end publishing systems, share data about a file within the file itself. This facility ensures that images never become separated from essential information such as copyright, ownership and caption.
This has been achieved as a result of our working partnership with Adobe Inc. CiT is an authorised Adobe Solutions Network Partner (ASN). |
